You guys have definitely done the school proud!

This is the third time we've clinched this title. In recognition of our outstanding performance, we get to keep the challenge trophy! We got to keep the Taylors College National Inter-School Debate Challenge Trophy too, after we won the tournament 4 times. Along with that, we got to keep the HELP University College National Debate Challenge trophy, since we've won it thrice.

Puan Mag looks so happy. She never really got to do that with our Taylors Challenge trophy as it was in a glass casing and all lol.

As far as debating goes, we've done none too shabbily this year. We won the HELP Debate, clinched the KDU Debate title, bagged the Wira trophy (the crown jewel, this one), and made it to the quarterfinals in the Taylors Debate. 2008 may very well be the year SMKDJ performed best.

And yes. SMKDJ houses the challenge trophies of all the major National English Debate tournaments now. I'm so proud to be a DJ-ian.

So. Very. Proud.

The challenge now is to maintain DJ's winning streak. We've done that for nine whole years. Ten major debating titles in 10 years! No way we're going to let that come to an end :)
